Jesus tells us to become “fishers of men” in Matthew chapter 4. An ancient fisherman repairing his net in preparation to fish symbolizes how we need to prepare ourselves as Christians before we go out and “fish.” I did a little research and tried to best depict how ancient fishermen would repair their nets. The end result is a suspended net and almost an inspection of each section.
