This painting was completed for a woman who wanted something to symbolize how, even when your life is in a very dark place, Jesus will always be there for you. He will always be there to lift you up. It is almost impossible to notice, but behind Jesus and the woman, in the purple and black is a thunder/rain storm. This was my first attempt to show Jesus “glowing” using semi-reflective silver paint.
