I searched for as many names for Jesus as I could find and incorporated them into the “paragraph” – the more words used, the more detail I could show. Once the first, grueling step was completed, I used contrast layers to show the images of Jesus’ face. Instead of increasingly darker shades, I gradually increased the thickness of letters and words. From far away, the finished painting is easier to see than up close, but all the names of Jesus are easier to see.
