For the milestone 100th painting, I chose a larger canvas and a technique that has not ever been utilized to my knowledge. The image is simple enough – a portrait of Jesus in normal clothing for His time, but the method used to depict that portrait makes this piece stand out from all the others. Look closely and see that it’s made from one continuous, non overlapping line. This line took incredible planning and execution to complete correctly and symbolizes the eternal love our Lord gives us. The singular line also represents the only way to receive this never-ending love – through Christ Jesus, God’s Son who was sent for us, died on the cross for our sins, and rose from the dead on the third day.
