The Bible is full of people disobeying or disregarding God and facing the consequences. Joshua 6 describes what happens when you follow His direction. An entire city falls to rams horns, priests, a bunch of shouting, and the power of God. If you look carefully at the painting you can see the seven priest blowing the horns, the 4 men carrying the Ark of the Covenant, and all the soldiers screaming their war cry.
