This painting can mean very different things to different people. I wanted to show a perspective of Jesus walking on water here, but the message of the painting is more powerful. As a Christian, I strive to be as much like Jesus as possible. I will never be a perfect reflection of Him. My sin ripples the water and distorts the image.
