“Shepherd” was painted with a specific idea in mind. I wanted to make sure the painting could be viewed in more than one way. When you see the painting, do you see a common shepherd facing away from you and towards a light that shines upon him? Or perhaps you see Jesus as a shepherd looking to you with light radiating from Him. Either way, this is an impacting painting for me – and hopefully the observer as well.
