Jesus fulfills a prophecy when He rides a donkey into Jerusalem and the people put their coats and palm braches on the street. The painting is a fairly simple concept, but it was very hard to pull off. Did you know that palm braches have a lot of leaves. I had to make sure that I didn’t get too engrossed in the leaf mayhem and paint over the words either. This painting took a lot of patience, but I am very pleased with the result. I just like the way this one looks.
