A completely conceptual painting, “Savior” portrays splattered blood on ancient pavement. The wooden cross smears the blood and shows to Arabic word for king. Although only conceptual, the painting is very profound to me. Jesus was not an outlaw, a liar, a false prophet. He was perfect and sinless. He was King. He was Savior. I used an actual picture from the Via Dolorosa as a reference for the pavement in this painting.
